We are a publisher, not a seller
researchuseonlypeps does not sell, supply, ship, store, or take payment for any material described on this site. There is no cart and no checkout. Every purchase happens on a third party's website, under that party's terms, pricing, and policies. We are not a party to your transaction and cannot process, modify, refund, or track an order.
Some outbound links are commercial
Links that leave this site for a vendor storefront may be commercial. Where a commercial relationship exists, we may receive compensation connected to traffic sent to that vendor. You never pay more because you arrived through a link on this site, and you are never required to use one.
Compensation is not always limited to traffic. With some vendors the commercial relationship extends to marketing or related services performed by the people who publish this site, and that is a closer relationship than an affiliate link. We state it here rather than leaving you to infer it. The practical answer is the same either way: read what we publish with that in mind, and check the certificates yourself rather than taking a number on trust, including ours.
Most outbound links here are not commercial. We link the storefront of every vendor in the directory whose store we could verify was live, whether or not there is any relationship, because a review that names a vendor and then refuses to say where to find it is not much of a review. Where we link nothing, the vendor page says why. Every one of those links, paid or not, carries the same rel value telling search engines it is not an editorial endorsement, and opens on the vendor's own domain in a new tab. If a link keeps you on researchuseonlypeps.com, nobody paid for it.
What compensation buys, and what it does not
It buys a link, and nothing else on this site. The directory is ordered by composite score descending and by nothing else: there is no pin, no boost, and no commercial tier in the code that builds that list. Whoever scores highest on the rubric is first, and the day that stops being true, the function that orders the list is what has to change.
- It does not buy a vendor score, a rubric dimension, a rank, or a position in the directory.
- It does not buy advance review of a review before it publishes.
- It does not buy the removal or softening of a safety alert.
- It does not buy the suppression of a competing vendor, a competing product, or an unfavourable analytical result.
- It does not buy a movement in the score. Every change to a composite is dated and published with the evidence behind it on the vendor's own page.
Vendor scores are produced against the published rubric described in our editorial standards, from documentation we can see. A vendor we have a commercial relationship with is scored on the same evidence as one we do not, and is downgraded on the same evidence.
We also publish company-reported news for some vendors, such as an event or press coverage. Those items are labelled as the company's own claims, are kept separate from the rubric, and cannot move a score. Where we have verified something ourselves, we say which part we verified.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise this site through third-party advertising platforms, including Google. Those platforms and our analytics providers set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to measure which pages people arrive on and whether a visit resulted in a signup. No professional relationship
Nothing on this site is medical, veterinary, legal, or regulatory advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. All materials referenced here are for in-vitro laboratory research use only and are not for diagnostic, therapeutic, veterinary, or human use.
